Does your teenager love to fill sketchbook pages with drawings and fantastic ideas? Are they serious about improving their drawing skills and exploring ways to apply their skills in everyday life, possibly even a career? Now they can join our SketchTribe Youth Design Team!

Youth Design Team members are creative, curious, inventive, and self-motivated. You will collaborate with like-minded creatives in a project-based workshop environment, focused on sketchbook skills and portfolio development. You will learn about careers based on drawing skills such as illustration, concept art, graphic design, layout, story boarding, industrial design, and character design.

Youth Design Team members will benefit from Rob Court’s expertise as a designer, illustrator, and drawing coach. You’ll practice traditional observational drawing skills and learn to apply those skills while working from your imagination. Explore various media including graphite, pens, charcoal, pastel, colored pencils, and digital drawing and design apps on an iPad.

When: Weekly evening sessions, and 1 Saturday per month, and 1 private session per month, and regular online/email project collaboration Where: The Scribbles Institute Cost: $325 for 4 weeks. This workshop is ongoing through the summer and includes all materials except sketchbook Prerequisite: Level 2 or 3 Drawing Lab at the Scribbles Institute or equivalent.
