Summer Drawing Classes Explore Form and Tonal Values

Our fearless Level 3 adult sketchers further advanced their observational skills while sketching from plaster casts such as eyes, faces, and hands. They also drew from a deer skull and flowers and experimented with various media such as charcoal, pastels, and graphite.

Students did study sketches and final charcoal drawings as they studied tonal values and proportions.

A variety of subject matter and materials for drawing can always be found in the studio.
