Drawing Mob at Cabrillo Music Festival!

As the saying goes, “Build it, and they will come.” And so, they came to draw from places such as San Francisco, Tulsa, and Tokyo. All weekend long we had a steady flow of adults and kids visit the Scribbles Institute tent at the Church Street Fair, part of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music on August 4th and 5th. Beginner and expert sketchers, both young and old, were eager to use different drawing materials to express themselves and to participate in our free lessons. The nearby outdoor stage provided a variety of wonderful ethnic music to inspire creativity.

Little hands, big pencils, future drawers of the world!

Okay, everyone! Show us what you’ve got! Smiling faces filled our little drawing tent.

Highlights from our fun weekend of drawing in Santa Cruz. (Click on thumbnails to view larger pics.) Special thanks to Mike for getting our tent together, Judith for coordinating, and Rhonda for assisting. We look forward to next year!
